DAYCARE

Doggy daycares are a great option for pet owners who work long hours or have other commitments that keep them away from home during the day. By providing a safe and stimulating environment for their dogs, owners can ensure that their furry companions are happy, healthy, and well-cared for while they are away.

At The Ruff Barn, pups can enjoy a variety of activities and amenities, such as:

  • Playtime with other dogs in secure, supervised play areas

  • Exercise and walk to ensure they get the physical activity they need

  • Feeding and watering as needed throughout the day

  • Access to toys, play equipment, and comfortable resting areas for downtime

  • Supervised rest periods to prevent over-excitement or exhaustion

  • Basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing, at an additional cost

We cater to pups of all ages as soon as they have completed their puppy vaccinations (at least 12 weeks of age). All pups attending The Ruff Barn are required to be up-to-date with their C5 vaccinations. Owners must provide proof of C5 vaccinations from their vet.

 

A temperament trial is mandatory as each dog is unique and we need to consider if your pup has the right temperament for daycare. The safety of our pups and staff is the most important! You'll drop your pup off for an hour, we would monitor their body language and reactions to social interactions with other dogs. We want every visit to be a positive one and will update you during their trial as to how they're going.

  • Half-Day daycare: Up to 5 hours

  • Full-Day daycare: Up to 10 hours

Temperament Trial  (1hr observation): $20

Half-day daycare (Max 5 hours): $35

Full-day daycare (Max 10 hours): $50

Casual half-day daycare (Max 5 hours): $45

Causual full-day daycare (Max 10 hours): $60

Extra $10 for weekend daycare and additional charge for dogs > 45kg.

Late pick up (after 6 pm): $15/30minutes

Half-Day

Drop off between 7.15 am - 8 am and pick up lunchtime between 12 pm - 1 pm or drop off during lunchtime and pick up between

5 pm – 6 pm

Full-Day

Drop off between 7.15 am – 8 am and pick up between 5 pm - 6 pm 

​

* Please be advised that arrivals after 8 am for full-day sessions or 1 pm for half-day sessions will be considered a no-show, and full fees will be charged accordingly. Additionally, late pick-ups after 6 pm will incur a charge of $15 for every 30 minutes.

Add-on dog wash (Includes wash, blow-dry, brush out)

Additional charge for fluffy or dogs that are shedding

* Contact us via email for enquiry about daycare for more than 1 dog. Two-dog pricing is only applicable to dogs from the same household living together 24/7. 

There is an additional charge for non-sterilized dogs and pups less than a year old.

20 Day Pass - $900 | Per Visit Cost $45 (Save 10%)

Pre-paid packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Expiry periods: 10 pass – 3 months, 20 pass – 6 months

BOOKING

As we maintain a limited capacity for our daycare services, we strongly recommend making bookings in advance. Any last-minute bookings made less than 24 hours prior will be subject to a $10 fee. Please ensure you provide notice of cancellation by the end of the preceding business day (6 pm) to avoid being charged the full-day fee for a no-show.

We ask all owners to familiarise themselves with our vaccination policy and remind owners that pets that are not routinely vaccinated every year may be refused entry. We may request previous vaccination certificates to verify your pet’s status and history. All vaccination certificates are required to be emailed to us before confirming any booking.
